Climbing and fueling ...

In the past month I have had two heavy climbing workouts ; geez, you'd thinki was training for some 'mountain' biking. oh wait, i am!!!  Here is what my climbing sessions looked like:

Climbing Session #1: Climb 11,000 feet in 2 days
Climbing Session #2: Climb 15,000 feet in 6 days

I enjoyed both sessions - i really like having a 'goal' and a being able to organize around it. that way I can getup super duper early to be done before Breakfast with my two favorite people ... or I can sneak out while Emily and Dada are napping ... or if i am feeling ambitious, i can tow Emily behind me ;)  Any way you slice it, i get to configure my week in a way that works best for me to balance work, family, life, and traning. And well, you can't do much better than that.

Of course to fuel these rides we need to do some cooking ... and as always i have a willing and eager cooking partner ... here are some snapshots!
